Ipamorelin research overview
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) developed at Novo Nordisk in the 1990s within a series of growth hormone-releasing peptides (GHRPs). It is an agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor) and contains unnatural amino acids: aminoisobutyric acid (Aib) and D-2-naphthylalanine.
Ipamorelin is not approved by the FDA for any use. The material Pep Shop Texas sells is for laboratory research only.

Published research
Most published ipamorelin work is preclinical: isolated pituitary cells, rats and swine. The studies below are listed by what was measured. They are not evidence of safety or effect in people.
Primary rat pituitary cells, anaesthetised rats and conscious swine. Measured GH release (EC50, ED50, Emax) against GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, receptor profiling with GHRP and GHRH antagonists, and plasma ACTH, cortisol, FSH, LH, prolactin and TSH.

Storage of lyophilized material
Keep lyophilized ipamorelin sealed, dry and away from light, in a freezer (about -20 °C) for long-term storage of the powder. Let a cold vial reach room temperature before opening it so moisture does not condense on the powder.
